Costs: $600 for 8 weeks; non-refundable per child is $10 per week to hold a spot at registration and is applied toward total tuition cost. Scholarships and DHS available. Tuition includes all field trips, camp t-shirt, breakfast, lunch and snack. Spots fill quickly so register early!
Welcome to Kids Unlimited’s 14th Annual summer camp. Kids Unlimited is a local non-profit youth development agency dedicated to providing empowerment opportunities. Each, Kids Unlimited serve over a thousand youth through after school programs, enrichment clubs, mentoring, tutoring, sports and much more. Our Main 1 Center for the Arts offers an ever evolving center of resources including art lab and gallery, technology center with integrated computers and film, Olsrud court basketball gyms and a commercial kitchen capable of hosting a variety of culinary classes and activities.
Our clinics and enrichment club structure provides campers the opportunity engage in many different activities, allowing for campers to try new things as well as choosing areas of their interest. Camps are led by a staff of certified teachers, educational assistants, coaches, community members, youth development professionals and mentors. The staffing creates an environment committed to healthy learning, leadership, diversity and FUN! Our staff to camper relationship allows for great relationship building, mentoring and small group dynamics.
This year’s summer academy is aimed at integrating technology and project learning through our weekly world themes which include activities in the arts, music, sport and dance.
What We Do:
Sports Fitness & Conditioning: USTA Tennis/Ralleyball, Summer basketball academies, swimming, golf club, volleyball club, soccer club, SOU Football mini camp, Portland Trail Blazers Basketball camp, martial arts and Best fit kids club, UNREAL Cycles Mountain Bike Club, Outdoor education and hiking, fishing and dodge ball league.
Computer & Technology: Expanding Horizon’s Film program, digital photography, Claymation, Digital audio technology, Radio club, Lego Robotics, Scratch computer programming, We-Do Robotics, Pico Cricket programming and computer lab.
Arts: Ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, comic strip/cartooning, print making, photography portfolio, scrapbooking, mural design, urban art and Draw Squad.
Dance: Hip hop, break dancing, ballet, tap and jazz, Zumba for teens and pre-teens.
Science: Hands on Science, Outdoor Education, CSI, Eco lab.
Performance Arts & Music: Music and instrument introduction, theater, improve, script and set design, Film Club.
Culinary Arts: A Melody of Flavors intro to cooking/kitchen safety, baking, cultural theme cooking, Seeds to Table Program, planting / cultivating & harvesting with Dunbar Farms & Rogue Valley Farm 2 School.
