The Middle School Experience

Embrace the journey – middle school activities will open up the possibilities of life that schools may not be able to accommodate. We take the positive and accentuate them. Our focus is on community, education, family, equality, health and environment. Our enrichment programs include magazine design, film production, culinary arts, health and fitness, small group interaction, leadership development and sports. This program was created for the betterment of each individuals. The outcomes will be based on academic focus, behavior modification and community involvement.

Project life provides students from McLoughlin and Hedrick Middle Schools with a safe, healthy learning environment in a well supervised facility. Activities address academic and social needs while filling the existing gaps in services to children within our community. Students will obtain the the skills to cope with insecurities in social situations to assist them in making responsible decisions regarding drugs and alcohol, gangs, unsafe sexual behavior and violence related to bullying. This program is designed to give all students the tools forr a successful transition from middle school to high school.
